THE CONSULT
Here's where we really go over all the details, you tell me your vision, and we make sure I can make that dream happen.
To book your date, a $600 retainer + sign contract is required.
Your package balance is due one month before your wedding at your Final Meeting.
To ensure I can meet your wedding vision, a consult is required.
THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Every engagement session is completely custom to each client. I listen to your ideas and vision, and we plan together the best outcome for you.
You'll either get the What To Wear Guide or we will cover all the details during your consult. There will be no unanswered questions before your session.
Your finished images will be the start of your online gallery.
THE FINAL CONSULT
One month away from your wedding!
Here we create the Formals List (list of specific people to get a picture with after the ceremony), we plan out my timeline for your wedding, cover any last second details, and any balances are paid. This is also the perfect time to cover any wedding-day concerns so my second photographer and I can really make sure we're in your corner.

** removing the engagement session or second photographer does not alter the price of your package**
It's time to book your consult!
If you're a returning client and already familiar with the pricing structure, you now have the option to book your session based off my openings too
1. What's the average amount of photos you deliver?
For weddings, typically between 1,100 and 2,000 final edits get delivered depending on how much the wedding party and guests are super into dancing/being silly/having fun. The amount of decor plays a minor role in number of images too (because obviously I’m going to go ham on a lavishly decorated wedding!!)
2. What sneak preview timing do you usually deliver?
Depending on the busyness of that month, but typically within the week I’ll get at least one sneak out of a couple images.
3. What is the timing to get the engagement gallery back & average number of photos?
Any non-wedding gallery comes back in under 2 weeks (again, depending on how busy that month is). The two week mark is for the suuuuuper busy months but usually within the week. Those galleries are usually between 75-150ish final images….assuming we were’t dying in the weather and all parties are having fun. I refuse to make one person continue to take pictures if they’re over it. That just puts a bad taste in their mouth about photography experiences.
4. What's your backup plan if an emergency happens and you can't shoot or your camera breaks?
We have three cameras that all shoot on two cards (both cards write the same images in case one card goes bad) and, if the universe decides to take all three cameras at once, I have the credit line on reserve to purchase what I’d need in a day on the spot.
If anything happens to me personally, my main second, Aleese, takes over and one of my designated backups will second her. I’d have to be in a coma to not shoot a wedding as I have (actually diagnosed) OCD and the thought of disappointing a couple would send me to my grave.
5. How do you store & backup your photos?
My online galleries for couples is cloud based and backed up on their own servers, but then I additionally have my own cloud storage as well as backup external hard drives that I store galleries on (again, OCD)
6. What's your communication preferences for planning? Emails? calls?
My communication preference is whatever is best for my client. Some prefer email, EVERY SINGLE CLIENT has my personal cell number (not just the work number on my website), and I use FaceTime/Zoom, and even social media for some. It just depends on what they need to feel a little more sane in hectic times.
7. Do you only use your three 2nd shooters listed on your website?
Ideally yes. Aleese, Emma, and Olivia are all trained by me to shoot like me, so I know the images they produce are going to have the look I want for editing. I also have two “trainee” backups that have never had to be used in an emergency but are ready to step up if the case arises.
8. When does the gallery expire?
They don’t. I pay for unlimited storage annually, so I would have to be deceased for that to expire. I even have a backup plan in order to pay for extra YEARS of storage in case I would perish for current and upcoming clients that my seconds would photograph if anything did happen to me. (Did I mention the OCD? Lol)
9. Can you share some example galleries?
I don’t share links to full galleries for client privacy. I’ll happily meet with potential clients to show them full galleries, but with having both clients and guests that prefer privacy (whether it be their careers…even sometimes I’ll have people with children in the foster system) but I take client privacy very seriously and won’t share full galleries online without explicit written permission.
10. How do I plan out when you arrive?
You don’t! That’s my job. I get the details I need to know what YOU want, then show you options I think would fit you best, and we work together on a perfect timeline. I also try to get that timeline done BEFORE you plan out hair, makeup, and even catering timelines so all you have to do is hand them the timeline we created and the rest usually falls into place easily.
11. How long does it take for the full wedding gallery to come back?
By contract, it’s no later than 2 months. My actual average (again, depending on how busy the season is) is usually 1-3 weeks.
12. What/When/Where do you eat?
We aren’t too pick for the “what”, if it’s buffet style we ask if we are included in the count or have a vendor meal. As far as “when” and “where”, I don’t like to leave the reception room to eat and I always eat at the same time as the couple. If you two are eating, I don’t need to get pictures of you with a fork headed to your mouth (I mean, unless you want that) and, if something cool happens during your dinner that I’d want to get pictures of, then I need to be in the room while that’s happening.
13. What do we do if it’s raining/bad weather?
We make the most with what we have! If you want to go run in the rain for fun pictures, I’m 100% on board. My camera gear is water resistant anyway so as long as I’m not fully submerged, I’m not worried. I will literally crawl through mud if it’s to get a shot you want….just don’t ask me to touch microfiber 🤣
14. We are extra silly/rowdy/partiers, are you ok with that?
ABSOLUTELY. In fact, that will guarantee your gallery is massive. A fun crowd ALWAYS photographs well….plus my husband is a Veteran and I’m very use to his goofball crowd of weirdos.
16. My church/venue has a balcony/loft/super-high-spot, can we/you go up there for pictures?
As long as the venue allows us to go up there, I’m game!
17. Myself or my guests are LGBTQIA+, is that ok?
As long as you’re not punting puppies down the aisle, I’m all for people being their authentic selves.
18. Do you/will you drink alcohol at the wedding?
Absolutely not. I don’t drink anyway, but even if I did, it wouldn’t be while I’m working and/or driving home.
19. I have a “problem” guest/family member that means well but wants me to do things a certain way…
My contract specifically says “regardless of who pays the bills, advisory boards, parental units, or any other such authority figure, I only respond to the client and spouse.” That’s not to say I’m going to flat out ignore people, but if YOU don’t want to do something, my job is to make sure (professionally) we don’t do that.
20. I’ll have my pet in the wedding, are you ok with that?
Please PLEASE let me know well in advance if you’ll have a pet at the wedding. I need to arrive early for snuggles. I don’t care if it’s a dog, cat, cow, or spider….I need to tell them they’re the best.
